Job Detail
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings, including low voltage and high voltage wiring
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical components to support automation systems
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local electrical codes
  • Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure
  • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work within project timelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as a commercial electrician with knowledge of industrial electrician practices preferred
  • Strong background in construction site work, renovation projects, and blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools including ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
  • Construction site experience is essential for understanding project workflows and safety procedures
  • Maintenance Person experience or frame carpentry skills are a plus for versatile project support
  • Valid relevant licensing or certification as an electrician is required or preferred depending on jurisdiction
