$25 – $35 an hour

• Duties
• Skill in using analytical and research skills to define and solve problems.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
• Perform a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance or repair of equipment used to distribute or use electric energy, including switchgear, uninterrupted power supplies, wiring, breaker panels, and electrical distribution system, switches, outlets, light fixtures, exit lights, and mounted emergency lights.
• Install or repair switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
• Complete reports and perform administrative duties.
• Responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts for the electrical shop.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
