Job Detail
- Operate CNC lathe and CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
- Perform CNC programming and CAM programming for various machining operations.
- Utilize GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members in a lean manufacturing environment to optimize production processes.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and tooling for assembly and machining tasks.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC machines (lathe and milling).
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD software machining is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial but not required.
