Cnc Machinist – 2Nd Shift

Job Detail
- Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines (Zimmerman, HAAS mills, and lathes)
- Machine both billet and non-traditional stock (3D prints, foam, castings)
- Work with engineers to provide real-time DFM feedback and enable rapid iteration
- Occasionally assist with LFAM 3D printing and hybrid workflows
- Perform in-process and final inspections using standard metrology tools
- Move seamlessly between R&D prototypes and low-rate production runs

What You Bring 5 years of CNC machining experience (setup, tooling, troubleshooting) - 3 years operating 5-axis gantry mills
- Strong knowledge of G/M code and CNC operations
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- A “get it done” attitude and passion for craftsmanship

Bonus Skills Experience in aerospace, defense, or motorsport industries Familiarity with Siemens or HAAS controllers Exposure to 3D printing or additive-subtractive processes CAM experience with Tebis, Fusion, or ESPRIT CAD familiarity with NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA
