Job Detail
  • Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines (Zimmerman, HAAS mills, and lathes)
  • Machine both billet and non-traditional stock (3D prints, foam, castings)
  • Work with engineers to provide real-time DFM feedback and enable rapid iteration
  • Occasionally assist with LFAM 3D printing and hybrid workflows
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using standard metrology tools
  • Move seamlessly between R&D prototypes and low-rate production runs

  •  What You Bring 5 years of CNC machining experience (setup, tooling, troubleshooting)
  • 3 years operating 5-axis gantry mills
  • Strong knowledge of G/M code and CNC operations
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • A “get it done” attitude and passion for craftsmanship

  •  Bonus Skills Experience in aerospace, defense, or motorsport industries Familiarity with Siemens or HAAS controllers Exposure to 3D printing or additive-subtractive processes CAM experience with Tebis, Fusion, or ESPRIT CAD familiarity with NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA
