Job Detail
  • Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, primarily using G-Code and Fanuc controls, ensuring precise execution of complex machining tasks.
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using Fusion360 software and write or modify CNC code to optimize production processes.
  • Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibration devices such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machined parts utilizing precision measuring instruments like dial indicators and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Perform maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform daily maintenance.
  • Apply GDT (Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing) principles to ensure parts meet strict dimensional tolerances.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and tooling to assist in assembly or secondary operations when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following lean manufacturing principles while adhering to safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in team projects related to manufacturing efficiency.
  • Skills
  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes with Fanuc G-Code controls.
  • Understanding of CNC programming, CAM programming, and editing G-code.
  • Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately. familiarity with GDT standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators.
  • Basic math skills essential for calculating dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles aimed at reducing waste and increasing productivity.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment.
