Job Detail
  • Conduct comprehensive cleaning of chimneys, air ducts, dryer vents, and HVAC systems to improve airflow and safety.
  • Inspect systems for blockages, damage, or wear. identify necessary repairs or maintenance needs.
  • Utilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues with equipment such as fans, blowers, filters, and ventilation components.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts using appropriate tools and techniques. ensure all work complies with safety standards.
  • Assist in the installation of new ventilation or HVAC equipment when required. interpret schematics to guide setup.
  • Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and parts used.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining work performed and offering maintenance tips for system longevity.
  • Lead small teams or coordinate with other technicians during larger projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Stay current on industry best practices in chimney cleaning, ductwork maintenance, HVAC/R technology, and safety protocols.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair or HVAC/R systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
  • Experience in appliance repair, equipment maintenance, or construction environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration components, ventilation fans, and ductwork.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and schematics.
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to chimney cleaning and HVAC/R services. commitment to safe work practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with leadership qualities for guiding team members when needed.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for travel between job sites.
