Job Detail
  • Operate and drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual handling techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on designated routes.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
  • Ensure the secure transport of goods to prevent damage during transit.
  • Utilize manual transmission when required for specific vehicle operations.
  • Experience
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
  • Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, tankers, flatbed trucks, and roll-off trucks is preferred.
  • Experience in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in logistics is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to trucking and transportation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
