Job Detail
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building components using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing work
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and roofing tasks as needed
- Handle demolition, site cleanup, and material handling including heavy lifting
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, and other structural or decorative elements
- Apply caulking, stucco, plastering, and water damage restoration techniques
- Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site as required
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all phases of construction
- Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of framing, drywall, roofing, or related trades
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment (nice-to-have), and fabrication techniques
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to construction projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry and labor tasks
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site access and material transportation
- Prior experience in restoration industry work or remodeling projects is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $22 – $30 per hour
- Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
