Job Detail
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, metal studs and wallboard.
- Frame carpentry for residential and commercial buildings.
- Assemble and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Perform restoration work on existing structures as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and materials needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Experience
- Proven experience working in a construction site environment.
- Familiarity with maintenance person tasks including plumbing and electrical work is a plus.
- Proficient in using power tools and understanding of safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
