Job Detail
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, roofing, and drywall work
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement safely around the job site
- Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinetry, and other structural elements
- Conduct water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other repair or restoration tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on construction sites
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to specifications
- Skills
- Proven experience in construction site work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment
- Strong understanding of framing (metal stud or wood), roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical wiring, plumbing basics, and masonry work
- Experience with drywall finishing (plastering), caulking, and fixture installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus
- Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage repair and mold remediation
- Maintenance Person experience or general remodeling skills are advantageous
- This position requires candidates to be adaptable team players with a strong work ethic who are committed to quality craftsmanship. Prior experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is highly valued. Applicants should be prepared for physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards throughout all phases of construction.
