Salary Detail
$20 – $28 an hour

Job Detail
- Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
- Fits and installs window frames, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
- Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
- Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
- Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
- Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
- Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
- Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repairs or replaces, using hand tools.
- Inspect ceiling or floor tiles, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
- Cleans up worksite debris.
- Provide excellent customer service while working under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Qualification: Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience required.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project needs.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and clients
- Knowledgeable in building code and construction math.
- Work within a team, or independently.
- Basic computer/tablet skills
- Valid Driving License and pass MVR check
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Physical Requirements: Operates mostly in the field at work sites/client locations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Frequent lifting assisted and unassisted depending on w8limitations.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding positions for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including indoors and outdoors.
- Confined or limited spaces, providing limited access or mobility at times.
- Heights are over 5 feet, when necessary.
- Salary: $20-$28 DOE plus overtime and on-call bonus Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance
