Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques, ensuring an even and professional finish.
- Perform auto body repair work as needed, including dent removal and surface preparation.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and detailing.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of painted surfaces.
- Buff and polish vehicles to achieve a high-gloss finish post-painting.
- Handle heavy lifting of parts and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and expectations.
- Assist with auto estimating for paint jobs and repairs, ensuring accurate assessments of time and materials required.
- Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects, applying mechanical knowledge where necessary.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in welding and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong skills in auto body repair, auto painting, detailing, buffing, and handling auto glass are essential.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and airless paint spraying equipment is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Experience in auto estimating is a plus but not required.
