- FAB-TEX is a Heavy Duty Truck Dealer seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic who is interested in transitioning into Diesel Truck Mechanics. Solid opportunity if you’re already skilled as a mechanic and are looking to expand into the diesel side of things. Job Title: Automotive Mechanic (with training for Diesel Truck Mechanics)
- Pay: Starting at $32/hour
- Overtime available AT TIME AND ½ (potential for higher earnings)
- Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks.
- Must have your own tools required for the job.
- Qualifications: MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS experience as an Automotive Car Mechanic is required.
- Current, valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Good vision and hearing are necessary to perform tasks effectively.
- Working Conditions: Large facility, likely with overhead cranes for heavy lifting and movement of parts or vehicles.
