- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive schematics, ADAS systems, and electronic testing tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Perform alignments and vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Rebuild or replace faulty parts such as transmissions, electrical components, or mechanical assemblies as needed.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist with auto estimating procedures for repairs and communicate findings with the service team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and transmissions.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, diesel engine repair, welding, and vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, automotive service procedures, Ford vehicles, and auto estimating software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding apparatus.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately.
- Service technician experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
