Job Detail
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, alignment, and diesel engines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Service vehicles by replacing parts, repairing systems, and ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct wheel alignments and calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings effectively with customers.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Skills
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, ADAS calibration, auto estimating, and GM vehicle repair is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
- Ability to diagnose issues accurately using automotive diagnostics equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Experience working with diesel engines and performing complex repairs such as welding or advanced maintenance tasks is a plus.
