- Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive repair, some diesel repair, and vehicle maintenance. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for working on vehicles, we want to hear from you.
- This position will be for a mobile mechanic who will work as a contractor for Gray’s Automotive Solutions LLC. You will use your own vehicle and tools to conduct diagnostics, repairs and maintenance under our name. You will choose the days and hours you wish to work and appointments will be scheduled for you based on your skill level and preference. You will collect card, cash, and online payments from customers and be responsible for delivering or depositing cash payments.
- Ideally we are looking for a responsible, experienced and knowledgeable technician with 3+ years experience.
- The pay will be flat rate based on vehicle labor hours and based on your skill level.
- As the company evolves, there will be the potential from going to a contracted worker to a full-time employee.
- Responsibilities:
- – Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicle systems- Perform suspension repairs- Perform various vehicle repairs to include engine, brake, suspension, steering, electrical, etc.- Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems- Utilize power tools and specialized equipment for repairs
- Requirements:
- – Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role- Proficiency in automotive repair and maintenance- At least 1ASE certification- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems- Automotive college degree preferred- Competence in using power tools for repairs
