    Job Summary

    We are looking for an Automotive Lube Technician to join our successful dealership service center


  • As a Lube Technician at Jim Vreeland Ford, you’ll perform tasks like routine oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and minor vehicle services to maintain optimal vehicle performance for our customers


  • There are no specific certifications required to be a Lube Technician, but candidates who have relevant experience or a degree in automotive technology or mechanics are ideal
  • You will also have an opportunity to advance to a Ford Certified Automotive Technician based on your performance

  • Responsibilities

    Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacement
  • Perform routine transmission fluid flushes, windshield wiper fluid changes, and other fluid-related services
  • Tire balancing
  • Battery testing
  • Conduct vehicle multi-point inspections
  • Perform routine maintenance at the manufacturer’s designated standard
  • Inspect engine and transmission for leakage
  • Perform checks for tire pressure and fluid levels
  • Replace windshield wipers, air filters, and batteries, as needed
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner


    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED is required
  • An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferable
  • Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is highly desirable but not required
  • Strong communications skills are required ~
