Job Detail
  • Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders, and airless paint sprayers to prepare surfaces and apply finishes.
  • Conduct MIG welding and soldering to join sheet metal components securely, ensuring durability and safety.
  • Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components using sheet metal techniques to meet specific repair needs.
  • Apply auto paint using airless spray systems or traditional methods, achieving smooth, flawless finishes.
  • Replace auto glass and perform detailing tasks to ensure vehicles look pristine both inside and out.
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto restoration or repair projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to estimate repair times and communicate effectively with customers about the repair process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
  • Support the assembly of vehicle components during repairs or restorations as needed.

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician, preferably within a dealership or collision center environment.
  • Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, including auto painting, sheet metal work, welding (MIG welding), and auto glass replacement.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and fabrication tools for automotive repairs.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive repair processes.
  • Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform detailed auto restoration work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills for communicating repair progress and outcomes effectively.
  • Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various positions throughout the workday.
  • Dealership experience is highly desirable. familiarity with auto body standards is preferred.
  • Additional skills such as soldering, auto painting (including airless spray techniques), auto welding, fabricating sheet metal parts, and mechanic experience will set you apart.
