Job Detail
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using airless paint spraying or other professional techniques such as buffing and polishing.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Perform auto body repairs including welding, dent removal, and structural repairs as needed.
- Conduct vehicle inspections post-painting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist with auto glass replacement and detailing to enhance overall vehicle presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and uphold customer service standards.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in auto body painting, auto restoration, or dealership environments.
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding, buffing, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with auto painting methods such as airless spray painting and detailing processes.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto glass replacement.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
- Experience with auto estimating is a plus but not required.
