Job Detail
  • Assist in interpreting and executing design schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to construct and assemble set components.
  • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture setup.
  • Cleaning, assisting, landscaping, and other required duties.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to build set pieces.
  • Contribute to construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material needs for various projects.
  • Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks such as rebar installation, concrete forming, roofing, masonry work, siding, and flooring installation.
  • Install and secure set elements including doors, fixtures, siding, drywall (plastering/stucco), mold remediation components, and electrical fixtures as needed.
  • Support restoration efforts by performing water damage remediation, mold remediation, painting (construction painting), plastering, caulking, and general site cleanup.
  • Assist with remodeling projects involving tile laying, flooring installation, electrical work, plumbing integration, masonry repairs, and metal framing.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and follows schematics or technical instructions accurately.
  • Support the team during setup and breakdown of sets at various locations while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in construction site work or related fields such as carpentry, manufacturing, or restoration industry experience.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (including CNC machines), scaffolding systems, and fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with various construction disciplines such as framing (wooden or metal), roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation (including plastering/stucco), tile laying, flooring installation, siding application, cabinet installation and door hanging.
  • Experience in water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of schematics or technical drawings relevant to set construction is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. ability to adapt quickly on dynamic project sites.
