Project Manager

Role:
We are searching for a Mid-Level Project Manager- We function in a hybrid work environment and support flexibility between work and home life

Position Summary:
The Project Manager has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to mid-size projects and/or clients- Prepares strategic plans for project success
- Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects
- Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction
- Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments
- Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts
- Takes initiative to learn new architectural skills
- Holds responsibility for finished plans, specifications, or approval of materials and construction
- supervise a small staff of designers and technicians
- Apply sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in broad array of assignments and related fields
- Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities
Key Personal Traits: · Leadership experience and skills · Training of less experienced staff · Effective written and oral communicator · Team oriented · Self-starter · Accountability mindset for self and team · Highly organized
Technical Skills: · Strong skills with AutoCad and/or Revit, MS office, and Adobe Suites · Good understanding of zoning and building codes · Good understanding of the architects’ scope of services · Ability to effectively communicate with municipal officials, clients and contractors Qualifications: · 5 years of experience, minimum · Licensure preferred but not required · Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program · Manages multiple small/medium projects · Coordinates all aspects of assigned projects · Estimates scope of work · Develops creative design concepts & solves design problems for projects · Prepares presentation and design drawings and details

The pay range for this role is based on experience and location Location: Scottsdale, AZ & El Segundo, CA DxU is a design firm delivering planning, architecture and interiors for new construction and renovation projects- DxU has office locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale
