Job Detail
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Apptio Allocation/Chargeback and Service Costing/Cost Transparency, especially Allocation Model creation and support Design and Configure Reports in ApptiSupport of chargeback processes during Month End Close, Forecasting, and Budgeting cycles

    Responsibilities

         Review and support the load of data into Apptio schedule and run Apptio Datalink connectors for data loads into Apptio Troubleshoot issues with data uploads
  • Export of data from Apptio to external sys Configure Reports in Apptio Respond to ad-hoc queries from Business Partners on the chargeback model What-if analysis: Configure proposed model changes and show change to chargeback Support of chargeback processes during Budgeting, Month End Close, and Forecasting cycles
  • Manage the Datalink server (Linux RHEL) Automation of compliance reporting
  • Coordination with Apptio (the vendor) for platform upgrades and feature requests

    Required Skills

         Advanced understanding of Apptio Service Costing Chargeback
  • Working knowledge of Apptio R11 and/or R12
  • Advanced MS Excel experience (using Functions, Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, importing data)
  • Working with a text editor such as Notepad or similar (not windows notepad)
  • Ability to Work with large text files (comma and tab separated values)
  • Understanding of technologies used in an IT Organization (e

  • Basic Linux commands (commands to navigate and run applications)
  • Degree or equivalent experience 3-5 Years of experience
  • Nice to have ITIL Foundation Advanced Apptio Certification
  • Knowledge of tools or scripting for manipulating large text files (python, shell script, awk, sed, grep, head, tail)
  • Experience with scripting using Python or Shell Script
  • Experience with transferring files using SFTP or SCP
  • Experience with consuming REST APIs
  • Working knowledge of SQL Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle Database and ETL experience ~
