Apprentice Plumber

Calello Plumbing LLC is an established plumbing contractor located in Tarpon Springs, FL serving the Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough County areas since 2008. We specialize in new construction, remodeling, and service. We are currently seeking to fill positions for a Plumbing Helper/Apprentice.
Essential job duties:
The Apprentice will provide excellent customer service to the client. They will learn how to diagnose and repair all plumbing issue in a timely and efficient manner. The helper will acquire an understanding of Florida plumbing codes, drain cleaning, installation of plumbing systems and fixtures, and home re-piping. They will also learn how to read blue prints and lay out plumbing jobs for both new construction and remodels.
Experience in commercial with periodic travel will also be available to the right candidate. The apprentice will assist the plumber in keeping the company vehicle and equipment clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Weekend and after-hours work will be periodically required.
Ability to work out of town. (Current travel is within the state of FL and averages 4-8 times per year).
No sales or quotas.
Requirements:
Experience is a plus but not necessary.
Applicants must be able to lift/move up 10-50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally.
Applicants must have or be willing to acquire their own tools.
Applicants must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
Applicants must be able to pass drug screenings and background check.
Applicant must be willing to learn and motivated to become an independent plumber.
