Apprentice Electrician

Position: Apprentice Electrician

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: working under the direct supervision of another journeyman electrician or installation supervisor with the primary goal of completing a journeyman electricians license.

• Working under the direct supervision of another Journeyman Electrician or Installation Supervisor with the primary goal of completing a Journeyman Electricians license.
• Develop skills in the installation of cable, wire, EMT conduit, control devices, actuators, and HVAC automation controllers.
• Install control systems utilizing job mechanical/electrical plans and control drawings.
• Responsible for startup commissioning and troubleshooting of the control system with supervision.
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of electrical construction materials and control equipment required to install an HVAC automation controls system.
• Work safely in a construction jobsite environment following the company’s safety policies.
• Work with other trades to coordinate the installation of the HVAC automation controls system.
• Communicate with the Supervisor to plan manpower requirements and scheduling of materials to the job site.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Available for Local travel. Qualifications: The minimum of a high school diploma or a two-year technical degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, Or Construction.
• Other technical experience such as military, or other construction experience
• The ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must have driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
