Job summaryveterans alliance is hiring aircraft painters for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity in stuart, florida, supporting aviation paint operations.
Salary Detail
$30 – $35 an hour

Job Detail
- Prepare aircraft and components for painting, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and surface prep
- Mix and apply primers, sealers, base coats, and topcoats according to specifications
- Perform touch-up, blending, and refinishing as needed to meet quality and appearance standards
- Use spray guns and related paint equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect painted surfaces for coverage, color match, defects, and overall finish quality
- Follow all safety, environmental, and hazardous materials handling procedures
- Maintain paint equipment and work areas in a clean, organized condition
- Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of aviation paint experience – REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years of total painting experience in marine or automotive environments – REQUIRED
- Strong experience with surface prep, masking, spraying, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and job travelers
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening
- No personal tools required
- Schedule Compensation
- Pay Rate: $30/hr – $35/hr (based on experience)
- Per Diem: Up to $1,040 weekly (if eligible)
- Assignment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
