Diploma / GED~ Minimum of 6 years in Commercial.
Job Detail
- Install, repair, and service electrical systems
- Source or fabricate replacement electrical components
- Knowledge of the NEC and Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordingly
- Guide and oversee other electricians as necessary
- Obtain required equipment, tools, and materials for projects
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Provide assistance during emergencies
- Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports
- Eligibility Requirements Qualified candidates will possess the ability and willingness to do the following: Travel up to 100% (up to 2 weeks)
- Lift at least 75 lbs.
- Push or pull cables up to 60 lbs.
- Climb ladders up to 8 ft
- Work/stand on ladders for long periods of time
- Stand continuously
- Frequently reach above, below, or at shoulder level
- Frequently bend, twist, or stoop
- Frequently crouch or squat
- Be exposed to a central office/cable office environment with moderate noise levels and nominal variations in heat and cold
- Education/Experience/Skills High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 6 years in Commercial. (Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus)
- Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay depending on previous experience and current certifications. Overtime is also a factor and is paid at 1.5 X base. We are a performance based company and pay will ultimately reflect the employee’s productivity and overall performance.
