Job Description
Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations - Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests & work orders while adhering to your assigned route
- Classify, segregate and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment
- Conducts lab pack operations
- Pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment
- Performs various regulatory Training, compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: Pre-trip inspections of vehicle, report all losses, spills, accidents, Leaking Containers, waste diversion and safety violations to supervisor immediately
- Professional contact with all levels of Customers daily in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers
- Regular contact with many different levels of personnel
- Overnights Required
- Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites
- Process and prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA and DOT regulations
- Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials
- Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeeping
- Adhere to assigned route via electronic routing system with any deviations escalated to Management
- Operates a Hand Truck, Drum Dolly, Pallet Jack & Forklift
- Maintain the basic functionality & cleanliness of assigned company vehicle & equipment
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Starting rate of pay $30- 00
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or GED - Valid CDL Class B license
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required for transporting waste
- By law, you must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Requirements
Three or more years of related Industry experience - Ability to operate a CMV and possession of a valid driver’s license free of moving violations and accidents
- Knowledge of facility permitting, DOT packaging requirements and OSHA Regulations
- Driver E-Log Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of waste routing and disposal of Hazardous Materials
- 40hr Hazwoper Certificate
