Job Description

Job Detail
  • Conduct detailed inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fleet according to defined programs to prevent failure or decline, instigating corrective actions on any deficiencies
  • Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues; performing part replacements and minor overhauls as necessary
  • Routinely perform general maintenance tasks including but not limited to incidental carpentry, masonry, painting, finishing, plumbing to maintain facilities and equipment in good working condition
  • Comply with all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
  • Assist with projects to renovate/remodel facilities with guidance and supervision

    Technical Support And Coordination

    Assist less experienced technicians by offering expertise and troubleshooting advice to resolve more involved maintenance issues
  • Actively assist in work planning, suggesting improvements to optimize workflow
  • Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed
  • efficiently and in accordance with standards

    Administrative And Documentation

    Accurately and promptly enter logs and documentation into the work management system to facilitate operational transparency, ensure compliance with standards, support audits, and enhance accountability
  • Use MS Office Suite and windows-based applications to support maintenance tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and communication tools
  • Periodically be on call; work overtime and respond to emergencies as required

    Education and Experience Requirements

    Minimum three years of experience performing general maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar facility or similar work environment
  • Certification: Trade schooling and/or completion of a certification in applicable skilled trade OR completion of an intermediate maintenance certification program (e
