Job Detail
  • Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling
  • Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment
  • Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc
  • Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition
  • Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI
  • Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies
  • Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc
  • Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification
  • Extended hours or weekend overtime be available


  • Education And Experience

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on position


  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry
  • BICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required
  • Valid Driver’s License


  • Language Skills

    Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to commute to field locations and various job sites
  • The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations
