Job Description

Job Detail
  • Responsible for maintaining plant operations and equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Perform daily walk arounds and equipment inspections
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance as required
  • Complete all work orders as issued
  • Document all work in the maintenance management software system
  • Communicate (oral and written) with team members about unit conditions and observed situations
  • Compliance with operating procedures, quality management, and safety and environmental procedures as necessary to maintain equipment
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations within the limits of training and qualifications
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Other duties in support of company objectives

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: H
  • S
  • Diploma
  • 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance including instrumentation and automation
  • Display a high electrical aptitude
  • Experience with computers
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • History of strong attendance and performance
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position including climbing stairs, ladders and lifting 55 lbs
  • Ability to enter confined spaces while wearing a respirator and performing maintenance
    OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work rotating weekend and support call-ins as necessary
  • Ability to work holidays and overtime as required by the schedule
  • Ability to coach and be coached
  • Ability to be safe, innovative, flexible, self-starting, honest and open
  • Ability to work as a member of an integrated team
