- Test and commission protection & control systems on high-voltage substations
- Perform hands-on relay testing using Omicron or Doble test sets (think SEL and GE relays)
- Support project leads and field supervisors out in the field
- Complete safety paperwork (JHAs) and keep a clean record of all test results
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Take care of basic admin stuff — timecards, expense reports, and project updates

What You’ll Bring 5–10 years of experience testing medium and high-voltage electrical systems - Solid knowledge of protective relays (SEL, Basler, Beckwith, GE)
- Experience with relay calibration, control scheme testing, and CT/PT circuit testing
- Familiarity with Omicron and Doble software (Test Universe, ENOSERV RTS, AcSELerator, etc
- )
- Working knowledge of NETA, IEEE, and NFPA standards
- Comfortable working on systems up to 500 kV
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Able to pass drug/alcohol, background, and MVR checks
- Can lift 50 lbs and handle long field days safely

Bonus Points If You Have A bachelor’s or associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - Experience testing electromechanical relays and commissioning CTs, CCVTs, PLCs, DC systems, or batteries
- Familiarity with IEC 61850 protocol

Location: Can be located anywhere in Arizona and need to be willing to travel 80% of the time
Compensation: $50-$80/hr depending on qualifications and experience ~
