Job Detail
- Safely operate heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, excavators, telehandlers, and other machinery essential for construction activities.
- Manage the operation of various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials efficiently across the site.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage for different phases of projects.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, repairs, and operational activities for accountability and compliance purposes.
- Support additional tasks such as operating water trucks for dust control or supporting specialized machinery like cranes or tanker units as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites with a strong understanding of safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with operating loaders, backhoes, excavators, telehandlers, and other heavy machinery required for diverse construction tasks.
- Knowledge of construction site procedures and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
