Job Detail
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Perform maintenance and repair on existing HVAC/R systems, appliances, and property infrastructure
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Conduct field service tasks such as diagnosing system issues using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Repair mechanical components including welding parts or replacing faulty equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration units
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems, boilers, and other mechanical systems
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for each project or service call
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a focus on HVAC/R systems
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and property maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliances repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Familiarity with field service operations including troubleshooting electrical components using ohmmeters
- Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in maintenance or appliance repair
- Valid driver’s license (preferably <.PERSON>. driver) for transportation between job sites
- Additional skills such as mechanic experience or experience with HVAC/R systems will be considered advantageous
