Job Detail
- Follow all SAFETY procedures and policies
- Read Electrical schematics (AutoCAD, Eplan) and bill of materials (Excel).
- Familiar with wiring codes and requirements ( NEC, IEC).
- Work with controls engineering departments
- Work with the service department as required, during installation and startup.
- Layout wire routing for new build
- Assemble and install multiple types of wireway and E-chain
- Understand and Wiring communication buses/blocks and smart devices.
- Cable routing through cableway, duct, cat track, and robot flex.
- Wire permanent and temporary power in the following 120V, 240V, 277V 480V
- Wire and dress out robots
- Wire safety circuits
- Verify and install device tags.
- Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication
- Communicate red line changes to Team Leader for revision prior to completion
- Ability to drill, tap holes
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Perform OTHER duties as assigned or as needed.
- Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with automation, robotics, and/or machine tool or equivalent.
- Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Experience with voltages up to 577.
- Experience with 24V DC power.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks
- MUST be willing to work some overtime if the business need arises
- A high standard of quality and attention to detail
- Provide their own/use of power and hand tools.(see below)
