Job Detail
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenancnto ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Conduct mechanical repairs including, plumbing, HVAC servicing, and general facilities maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues.
- Lead small teams or supervise contractors during specialized repairs or projects such as residential painting or structural repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems to improve facility performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding quickly to maintenance requests from internal teams or tenants.
- Use electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose circuit issues effectively.
- Supervise or mentor junior maintenance staff when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing, and residential painting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory standards applicable to facilities maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus. ability to coordinate tasks efficiently across teams or contractors.
