- Lead the pipe crew by guiding equipment operators, laborers, and skilled workers with clarity and support.
- Keep a close eye on equipment, ensuring it’s running smoothly for underground utility installation, and report any hiccups to maintenance.
- Be the master of materials by managing our inventory to keep projects flowing.
- Mentor and share wisdom with the crew, helping them grow their skills and work efficiently together.
- Keep the lines of communication open with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address any issues, keep them updated, and adapt to changes on the fly.
- Safety first! Make sure everyone’s following the rules and working in a secure environment.
- Be prepared to tackle any challenges that pop up during underground utility work.
- Oversee the installation of underground utility systems, making sure everything matches the blueprints and design specs.
- Keep records in an orderly manner, from daily work logs to safety paperwork and project reports. What We Need from You: At least 5 years of experience leading a Pipe Crew.
- Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and underground utility installation procedures.
- Valid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle report.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
