- Position Overview:As Superintendent, you will lead field operations for large-scale water/wastewater construction projects throughout the Dallas area. You’ll be responsible for supervising multiple crews, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving project schedules to successful completion.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all field activities across multiple job sites, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Lead and mentor superintendents, foremen, and field staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and senior leadership to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and performance reviews.
- Resolve complex field issues and proactively manage risks.
- Maintain detailed field documentation and reporting.
- Support preconstruction planning and constructability reviews.
- Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction, with at least 3 years in a superintendent or senior field leadership role.
- Strong expertise in treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and underground utilities.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple subcontractors across concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of construction safety standards and QA/QC processes.
- Proficiency in field reporting tools. familiarity with scheduling software is a plus.
- Experience with CMAR, CSP, or other alternative delivery methods is preferred.
- Dallas-area experience or strong knowledge of local agency requirements is a plus.
