Job Detail
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on various types of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and gas/diesel engine systems.
- Read and interpret service manuals, technical plans, and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, air/electric tools, torches, and welding equipment.
- Accurately diagnose equipment issues and recommend effective repair solutions.
- Ensure a safety-first approach, maintaining awareness of workplace hazards and safety procedures.
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely.
- Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, crouching, and working in tight spaces.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with lift truck/forklift repair is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physically capable of performing all job-related tasks.
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire).
