Job Detail
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing and facility equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls, electronics, etc.).
- Perform preventive maintenance and document all work in CMMS (Maximo preferred).
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns or process-related issues.
- Conduct equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications.
- Maintain spare parts inventory to support uninterrupted production.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and SOP standards.
- Collaborate with the EHS team to ensure a safe work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency.
- Adhere to Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, and all safety protocols.
- Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of maintenance experience in automated manufacturing or medical device environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron).
- Experience maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V 3-Phase, including VFDs, relays, sensors, and motors.
- Familiar with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence), temperature controllers, photo eyes, and limit switches.
- Experience with high-speed packaging and electromechanical equipment.
- Proficient with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and building schematics.
- Facility systems knowledge (compressed air, vacuum, HVAC, RO water) a plus.
- Machining, welding, or tooling experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with PPE.
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, climbing, kneeling, or crawling tasks.
- Visual acuity required for detailed inspections and precision work.
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, electrical currents, dust, fumes, and chemicals.
- Top Skills Must-Haves:
