Job Brief
About the rolewe are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated mechanical engineer or designer with a strong background in hvac system design for commercial buildings.

Salary Detail
$100,000 – $135,000 a year

Job Detail
  • Design complex HVAC systems for a variety of commercial building types.
  • Collaborate and communicate directly with clients, including architects, to understand project requirements and coordinate design solutions.
  • Conduct site inspections during construction phases to ensure design intent is met.
  • Prepare and produce high-quality construction documents using required software tools.
  • Work closely with other MEP disciplines to deliver coordinated and efficient design packages.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience gained primarily in an MEP engineering consulting firm serving architectural clients.
  • Proven expertise in the design and construction of:
  • Hydronic Systems (chilled water, hot water, and steam)
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and applicable building codes.
  • Willingness to work in a production-focused, hands-on design role (non-management).
  • Preferred Qualifications (a Plus)
  • Experience designing HVAC systems for Hospitals or Healthcare facilities.
  • Familiarity with Trace 700 for building cooling load calculations and energy modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
