  • Position Overview (Read First)
  • This is not a clipboard job. It’s a W2, hands-on field role for an experienced residential pro who both does the work and supervises it. Expect a weekly mix of tool-in-hand execution, vendor coordination, and project update.
  • Typical Split:
  • 70% Skilled Trades Execution (carpentry/finish, light drywall/texture/paint, hardware/fixtures, minor plumbing electrical within licensure limits, punch-lists, small repairs/installs) +
  • 30% Supervision/Ops (scheduling, QA, documentation, quotes, site updates).
  • You will own the quality bar by doing the work yourself on small/medium scopes, and leading subs/vendors on larger scopes.
  • Client experience must reflect our hospitality standards and no-surprises communication.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Renovation Remodel (Primary)
  • Execute interior/exterior reno scopes end-to-end: selective demo, layout, light framing, drywall hang/finish/texture, tile setting/caulk, finish carpentry trim, cabinet/vanity installs, hardware/fixtures, door/window replacement, flooring repairs/installs (where applicable).
  • Perform bath/kitchen refreshes (fixture swaps, tile, vanity/cabinet, countertops coordination), laundry/mudroom buildouts, and small interior reconfigurations (within licensure limits).Coordinate materials, stage jobsites, maintain dust control/containment, and deliver a clean, safe workspace daily.
  • Complete before/during/after photos, punch to zero defects, and close out neatly.
  • Project Supervision Coordination
  • For larger jobs, coordinate licensed trades, confirm scope, parts, and site readiness. perform required site checks (first-time vendor at a home, &gt.$1,500 projects, and daily for multi-day jobs 10–15 min).
  • Run the “sniff test” on quotes (itemization, labor/materials, benchmarking) and negotiate when needed before client presentation.Keep Zoho CRM/Projects/WorkDrive current (notes, photos, status, issues/recurring/wishlist).
  • Communication Documentation
  • Proactive “Team No Surprises” updates to home coordinators and project manager, daily email recaps on multi-day work, clear change-order comms, and on-time closeout docs.
  • Safety, Vehicles Policy
  • Model safe work practices. enforce PPE and site safety. Uphold company vehicle policy (work-only use, take-home rules), fuel-card controls, and clean vehicle standards.
  • Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5+ years residential carpentry/remodel/handyman experience with multi-trade capability (finish carpentry, drywall repair, caulk/paint, hardware/fixtures, basic plumbing/electrical within legal/licensed limits).
  • Demonstrated hands-on ownership of small/medium scopes from assess → plan → build → punch → clean.
  • Scheduling/dispatch skills, vendor coordination, and jobsite QA. strong client communication with a hospitality tone.
  • Competence with mobile tools: photos, email templates, Zoho (or similar CRM/PM), document uploads.
  • Valid driver’s license and MVR acceptable for company vehicle use. willing to follow vehicle fuel-card policies.

  • Light estimating and materials take-offs. vendor pricing negotiation.
  • Aging-in-place/safety upgrades experience (grab bars, railings, lighting, slip mitigation).
  • Experience codifying standards/playbooks and improving field KPIs.
