Sprinkler Service Technician

Position: Sprinkler Service Technician

What you will do receive service calls from service resource center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.

$21.63 – $32.70 an hour

Diploma or equivalent required~ Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements~ Overnight travel may be required~ Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs~ Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times~ Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements~ Follow verbal and writ10instructions~ Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.

• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Must have the ability to work alone.
• What we look for
• Required 3-5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler service industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler Systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements
• Overnight travel may be required
• Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
• Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
• Follow verbal and writ10instructions
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirement of the company and the customer Preferred NICET Level II certification is a plus
• Backflow certification is a plus
• HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21.63-$32.70 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
