Qualifications
Diploma or higher.
Job Detail
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the low voltage/security industry.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Basic knowledge of network design and IP Communications.
- Working knowledge of system layout and commissioning of a new system.
- Ability to interact with designers, architects and other industry professionals.
- Ability to read construction drawings / blue prints.
- Excellent communication skills (all formats) which includes establishing positive relationships with customers.
- Professional appearance.
- Valid CA driver’s license and a good driving record.
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds independently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Possess your own basic hand tools.
- Security Technician: Knowledge of structured wiring of new and retrofit environments.
- Installation and Programming of Wired/Wireless Alarm Systems
- Knowledge of Relay principles
- Installation and programming of IP security camera systems
- Installation and programming of Card Access Systems
- Wired / Wireless Data Networks Installation, Configuration, Servicing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure
- Residential and Commercial experience
- Audio / Video Experience a PLUS! but not required.
