Job Detail
- Operate vacuum trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials.
- Drive various types of commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
- Load and unload fr8using forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve delivery efficiency.
- Basic qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicles operated.
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and vacuum trucks.
- Strong understanding of manual transmission operation.
- Preferred qualifications
- Experience with delivery driving in a variety of settings.
- Familiarity with operating roll-off trucks and handling fr8logistics.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to hazardous materials transportation.
