Job Detail
- Safely transport heavy equipment on lowboy/lowbed RGN trailers
- Plan routes and comply with oversize/overw8requirements. coordinate permits/escorts as needed
- Load, secure, and unload equipment using proper chains/ binders/straps in line with FMCSA company policies
- Perform accurate pre/post-trip inspections, comply with ELD logs, DVIRs, and trip paperwork daily
- Maintain a professional, clean truck and trailer, and communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and site contacts
- Support occasional aggregate or material moves as needed (Super 10/End Dump/Transfer experience)
- What We’re Looking For
- Class A CDL with a clean driving record. 3+ years commercial driving required
- Lowbed/Heavy Haul experience and basic heavy equipment operation required, Landoll experience is a plus
- Solid knowledge of load securement, axle weights, bridge laws, and California/Caltrans oversize rules,
- Ability to read and follow permits, maps, and special routing instructions
- Comfortable operating and guiding equipment on/off the deck (equipment operating experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail, efficient work practices, safety-first mindset, punctual, and dependable
- Physically able to handle chaining, tarping (as needed), and climbing on/off equipment
