Job Detail
- Use a variety of deburring tools to remove sharp edges and smooth surfaces on machined or cast parts.• Perform buffing and grinding operations on different materials and part types.• Inspect finished pieces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assembly
- Assemble parts using hand and power tools as specified in work instructions.• Install helicoils, pins, and other inserts as required by part specifications.• Follow blueprints or production travelers to confirm correct part configuration.
- Packing Preparation
- Wrap and package parts according to shipping or customer specifications using paper, bubble wrap, foam, and other materials.• Seal pouches and boxes to protect parts during transport.• Label packages accurately and complete all required documentation.
- Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or finishing experience preferred.• Ability to read and follow writ10instructions, travelers, and part drawings.• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and deburring equipment.• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g, 40 lbs].
- Work Environment
- Manufacturing/foundry or machine shop setting.• Exposure to noise, dust, and metal materials.• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
