Job Brief
Responsible for programming and operating a haas cnc mill to produce precision components, while supporting light mechanical assembly of vertical masts.
Salary Detail
$30 – $35 an hour

Qualifications
Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM platforms.
Job Detail
- Generate CNC programs using CAM software and HAAS controls.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot HAAS CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GDT requirements.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, h8gauges, and other measurement tools.
- Maintain tight tolerances and verify finished part quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Document production steps, adjustments, and quality checks.
- Assemble vertical masts and related components following established procedures.
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical assembly techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve machining or assembly issues.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC programming and machining experience.
- Proficiency with HAAS CNC milling machines and G-code.
- Ability to read technical drawings and apply GDT.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for assembly tasks.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CAM software.
- Preferred
- Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM platforms.
- Prior assembly experience in manufacturing environments.
- Work Conditions
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks.
