Job Detail
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to detailed specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality standards, making adjustments as necessary.
- Use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to inspect and verify part dimensions.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication, to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Load and unload materials, tooling, and workpieces into machines.
- Work with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of parts produced, machine settings, and work orders.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of CNC machining experience, with the ability to set up and operate CNC equipment.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) is preferred.
- Experience with CNC lathes, mills, press brake, turret punch, or similar machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent. technical degree or certification is a plus.
