Job Detail
- Operate and monitor metal 3D printers (e.g, EOS, SLM, or similar systems)
- Prepare build plates and set up print jobs according to engineering specifications
- Perform powder handling, part removal, and post-processing tasks (e.g, depowdering, support removal, surface finishing)
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and adherence to aerospace standards
- Maintain accurate build logs, documentation, and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot print defects and optimize processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
- Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing (aerospace experience preferred)
- Familiarity with metal additive manufacturing systems and post-processing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and build instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Comfortable working in a production environment using PPE and handling metal powders
- High school diploma or equivalent. technical certification or associate degree preferred
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with EOS, SLM, or similar LPBF systems
- Background in aerospace manufacturing or a regulated industry
- Knowledge of GDT and quality inspection tools (e.g, calipers, micrometers, CMM)
